How does the trial work?
Edwell is free to download, and the 14-day trial opens everything, export included. You start it the first time you export, or with Buy Edwell in the Edwell menu, and the 14 days count from that day. The trial belongs to your Apple Account, so reinstalling Edwell doesn't start it over.
What happens when the trial ends?
Your projects still open, and you can keep editing and saving them. Exporting a video needs the one-time purchase, which opens export for good. There's no subscription.
How do I restore my purchase?
Choose Restore Purchases in the Edwell menu, or on the purchase screen. Edwell asks the App Store what your Apple Account owns, so this also works on another Mac signed in with the same account.
Which formats can I make?
A project can be 16:9, 9:16, 1:1 or 4:5, for widescreen, vertical, square and portrait, and you can switch between them at any time. Edwell exports MP4 in H.264 or HEVC at 1080p, the whole project or only the part between your in and out points.
Which Macs does it run on?
Edwell needs macOS 14 Sonoma or later.
